The 2020 population census is a very important activity for the central BPS up to the regions, so the results will be very much awaited by the Government and the wider community in general. The 2020 population census data is a basic census that will be used as a planning and sharing evaluation of all aspects of development that will be carried out as well as those carried out by the government in previous years.
BPS of Malang Municipality in the successful implementation of the 10-year census activities in 2019 has recruited officers for mapping activities that will be used as the basis of the working area during the upcoming 2020 population census.
The initial activity of the preparation is very important and strategic in the success of the 2020 population census, then the Malang Municipality BPS in recruiting has formed a committee and recruitment is carried out openly with the aim of finding reliable officers who have adequate IT skills and knowledge, because in the field implementation will use digital maps, using applications that will be taught during training of officers. As elected officers, they must have an Android cellphone with certain specifications that have been determined according to the SOP at the central BPS.
In the release of the SP2020 Wilkerstat mapping officer at the BPS office in Malang City and led directly by the Head of BPS in Malang Municipality, Mr. Drs Sunaryo, M.Sc in his speech gave direct instructions to representatives of officers who participated in the 5 Si apples in the success of this mapping activity. Si ke.1: Coordination, Si ke.2: Identification, Si ke.3: Confirmation, Si ke.4: Reconciliation, and Si ke.5: Finalization.
