Harvested Area and Rice Production in Malang Municipality 2021 Results of Integrated Food Crops Agricultural Statistics Activities with Area Sampling Framework Method

The Report on Harvest Area and Rice Production in Malang Municipality 2021 presents the results of implementing KSA data collection during 2021. In addition, this report also provides information on the potential for rice cultivation obtained from field observations.

Integrated Food Crops Agricultural Statistics Data Collection with Area Sample Framework Method (KSA) is an activity carried out through collaboration between the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) which is now merged into the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (LAPAN). National Research and Innovation (BRIN), Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (Ministry of ATR/BPN), and Geospatial Information Agency (BIG). This activity is included in the national project to support the achievement of one of the national priorities, namely food security in order to improve food statistics, which began to be implemented nationally in 2018. The main objective of this activity is to produce objective, scientific, and scientifically valid data on rice harvested area. and involves the role of the latest technology, so that the data on rice production collected becomes more accurate, fast, and timely.
