Abstract

Human development in Malang Municipality continues to progress. In 2021 the HDI for Malang Municipality will reach 82.04 and in 2022 it will reach 82.71 or grow by 0.82 percent.

In East Java, Surabaya Municipality , Malang Municipality , Madiun Municipality, and Sidoarjo Regency are recorded as having a "very high" HDI category, while as many as 22 districts/cities are in the "high" category, and 12 districts/cities are in the "moderate" category.

In terms of health, in 2022, the Life Expectancy (UHH) of Malang City residents will be 73.75 years, an increase of 0.39 years compared to the previous year.

Adjusted per capita spending (constant 2012 prices) is Rp. 16.897 million, an increase of 234 thousand rupiah compared to the previous year.
